Aero-Industias Leaver y Cia. S.A. Aeroleaver is a company established close to fifty years ago by its current President, Mr. James G. Leaver, shortly after he moved to Colombia after retirement as an F4U Corsair pilot for the Royal Fleet Air Arm at the end of World War II.
Originally intended as a General Aviation aircraft maintenance facility geared to service the Piper Aircraft sold in Colombia, the company has evolved into a complete maintenance center as well as an organization that derives a substantial portion of its income from the sales and distribution of aircraft, helicopters, avionics and related equipment in Colombia and neighboring countries.
Located at Guaymaral Airport in the Northern part of the Sabana of Bogotá Colombia, Aeroleaver is one of the main General Aviation repair centers in Colombia and is certified for major maintenance of airframes, engines avionics, and different components. Besides performing maintenance work, Aeroleaver specializes in rebuilding and restoring aircraft as well as in the installation of special equipment.
.Aeroleaver employs close to one hundred people including fifty technicians and engineers specially trained in the different areas required in aviation maintenance. Aeroleaver also owns the special equipment and tooling required to perform this work. The company also maintains a considerable parts inventory.

Aeroleaver is an authorized service center

approved bt the Colombian Civil Aviation Authorities. It is also approved by the Ecuadorian and Panamanian Civil Aviation Authorities to perform maintenance on aircraft registered there.

manufactured by Piper, Cessna, Beechcraft and Aerocommander, helicopters manufactured by MD and Schweizer, as well as Continental and Lycoming piston aircraft engines and Pratt & Whitney, Garret and Rolls Royce Allison turboprop power plants. Aeroleaver has a complete avionics shop with capability for pulse equipment as well as weather radars and autopilot systems.
